I’m getting my stricture fixed tomorrow. The procedure is endoscopic, which means I’ll be put out with conscious sedation meds, while they run a tube down my throat and into my stomach, and then insert a balloon into the bottom of my stomach (through the tube), inflate it, and slowly and gently stretch open the stricture.
I’m nervous, but very excited about getting this taken care of!
