Are you going to have to do the eating right and exercise as well? I guess that’s an obvious answer — but now I’m totally curious about this. What I would worry about is keeping it off after it’s gone… I suppose the money you spend and all you go through for it would be incentive though.

Conga rats on the surgery and here’s hoping for a quick and as painless as possible recovery. *lifts protein shake* Have you considered maybe vlogging about this? It would be interesting, at least for me.

And even if some people see some portions of the post as TMI, I do like reading honest experiences written, even if it’s about gas pains and stuff like that. It’s honest and doesn’t give someone planning to go through the surgery a glorified image of what it’ll be like. *nod* Keep it up!

I rarely ever visit blogs anymore, and I came to your blog on the perfect day… the day of your surgery. I was so excited for you!

My surgery date was 2 years and 1 day before yours.

I just saw your tweet about the pains. Do you feel hunger pains but can’t fit one more crumb in your stomach? I remember that so well. It lasted about two weeks for me. It will go away and never return again I never understood why that happened, but everyone I have talked to said it happened to them.

It’s not going to be easy. I still struggle all the time, 2 years later. The surgery is the easy part, not the hard part. It was completely worth it for me, but I probably wouldn’t say the same on a bad day.

Wow I didn’t think I’d sit here and read it all but I surprised myself! Lol. I’m glad you had no complications, Jenn, I really am. I know I’m only an ‘online friend’ but I was really worried about you. I was even talking to my RL friends going “Yeah my friend is having surgery today.. hoping she’s doing alright” heh. It’s interesting to read the story and know what GB consists of. Hope you’re feeling even better today. <3

Hell yeah! Congrats! At least its alllll over and didn’t sound too terribly bad.

Morphine is countless times better than Vicodin….Vicodin has very little opiate in it, mostly Tylonal.

So how long is it going to be before the weight starts dropping? Do they recommend any kind of exercise, etc??
