As in: When I have my lap band surgery, rather than If I have my lap band surgery.

I joined two lap band message forums tonight. I plan on soaking up as much information as possible.

My husband has informed me that while he is very supportive, he worries about the look of the loose skin I may have to deal with particularly on my arms. He worries that he might not be attracted to me. We’ll deal with it if/when the time comes.
